Beautiful:

The broken glass and its meaning of resolve reminds one of Micah 7:8

"Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light."

This is really beautiful to read. I personally think that colleges and universities could be massively influential in the spiritual and intellectual healing that is needed as a society dealing with trauma. Showing how to lift our heads up and out of the horrors, to gain some clarity in thinking about the big questions of life, meaning, history and love. Thanks for sharing this.
